Rhonda J. Broussard


Rhonda J. Broussard is the founder of Beloved Community, creating a sustainable ecosystem for diverse schools and diverse communities.  Her vision for Beloved Community is informed by her leadership in diverse by design schools and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s goal “ to create a beloved community and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives.” Rhonda began her education path at 17 and has taught, founded international schools, and supported values-aligned development of new schools across the US.   Her education blog, One Good Question, features an interview series with education leaders around the world about investments and youth development.  She is a Pahara-Aspen Institute Fellow, member of the Aspen Global Leaders Network, and Eisenhower Fellow studying education design in Finland and New Zealand.  Rhonda and her bilingual family live New Orleans.  She studies, performs and occasionally teaches traditional dances from the African diaspora.
